In this workshop, we’ll explore the many reasons why people struggle with insomnia and sleep intrusion.  We’ll discuss the physiology of sleep and investigate many unique (and sometimes hidden) causes of disordered sleep patterns.

Dr. Melanie Meyer is a Naturopathic Physician with a private practice (Well-Natured PLLC) in Montpelier. She specializes in helping people with chronic health concerns to reclaim wellness!  Dr. Meyer also teaches a number of courses at the Community College of Vermont, including Anatomy and Physiology, Wellness for Life, and Introduction to Nutrition. While she loves the challenges that come with her professional life, her greatest delight comes in spending time with her husband and 2 wonderful daughters. Having had a history of struggles with insomnia, Dr. Meyer is especially excited to tackle this topic in the The Science (and Art) of Great Sleep workshop.
