Recipes for Healing: Herbal Salves

Salves are a basic herbal preparation essential to any home apothecary. In this hands-on class, students will develop recipes and make salves that they can take home with them. Together, we will explore the craft of selecting ingredients and preparing salves for a variety of practical applications.
Emma Merritt is a recent graduate of VCIH. She is a clinical herbalist in Burlington where she recently opened an office and apothecary for private herbal consultations. Emma is also a freelance writer and a teaching assistant for the first year students at VCIH.
