The Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism (VCIH) is committed to sharing herbal knowledge. For this reason, we seek to make any faculty and student publications, herbal education resources, our regular newsletter and news archives and media content involving the organization or its faculty, staff, and students freely available on our website.
American Herbalism is a unique healing modality that benefits immensely from cross-pollination of ideas, styles, and philosophies across its diverse constituencies. If we are to remain a vibrant and open community, we must both share ideas openly and also recognize and celebrate the multifaceted influences that are brought to bear in any one herbalist’s practice style, teaching approach, and philosophy of healing.
With this in mind, the resources found on our site are provided openly under a Creative Commons license, which allows for free reproduction and distribution of unmodified content for non-commercial purposes, as long as the user attributes the content to the original author. For more information about our Creative Commons license, follow the link at the bottom of this page.
We hope you find useful information here and encourage you to share what inspires and guides you. Plants give freely of themselves – support open access.
