As a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization, VCIH is driven and governed by its members. Membership provides the community with a chance to directly support the mission and vision of VCIH. Most importantly, VCIH members are invited to participate in the Annual Meeting to elect a Board of Directors and participate in shaping the organization’s activities.

Benefits to the community: This level of contribution covers the cost of a one-hour consultation or 2-3 weeks’ worth of herbal products from our apothecary for one community member.
Red Clover Membership
$ 100 Annual Membership

- VCIH Medicinal Plants of the Northeast Coloring Book (vol 2) (value: $20)
- Discount admission to community classes and special events
- Discounts at herb-related community businesses
- VCIH sticker to display your support
- Voting rights at our annual meeting
Benefits to the community: This level of contribution covers the cost of a two-hour consultation plus 2 weeks’ worth of herbal products from our apothecary for one community member. We’ll contact you about your member perk choices upon receipt of payment.
Elder Membership
$ 175 Annual Membership

- Free admission to fundraising events

Ginseng Lifetime Membership
$ 1,000 Lifetime Membership

Benefits to the community: This level of contribution helps us invest in new and upgraded equipment needed for our classroom, gardens, lab and apothecary. One lifetime membership can provide us with important infrastructure improvements such as drying racks, dehumidifiers, classroom and office technology, library resources, gardening tools and more!
