Become a Member
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization, VCIH is driven and governed by its members. Membership provides the community with a chance to directly support the mission and vision of VCIH. Most importantly, VCIH members are invited to participate in the Annual Meeting to elect a Board of Directors and participate in shaping the organization’s activities.

- Member rates for all VCIH community classes and events

Dandelion Membership $50/year

Benefits to the community: This level of contribution covers the cost of a one-hour consultation or 2-3 weeks’ worth of herbal products from our apothecary for one community member.
Red Clover Membership $100/year
Benefits to you:
- VCIH Medicinal Plants of the Northeast Coloring Book (vol 2) (value: $20)
- Discount admission to community classes and special events
- Discounts at herb-related community businesses
- VCIH sticker to display your support
- Voting rights at our annual meeting
Benefits to the community: This level of contribution covers the cost of a two-hour consultation plus 2 weeks’ worth of herbal products from our apothecary for one community member.

Elder Membership $175/year

Benefits to the community: This level of contribution helps us invest in new and upgraded equipment needed for our gardens, lab, and apothecary. One lifetime membership can provide us with important infrastructure improvements such as drying racks, dehumidifiers, classroom and office technology, library resources, gardening tools and more!

Membership contributions are tax-deductible, less the value of any merchandise provided. You may opt not to receive membership perks if you wish to deduct the full value of membership.
