Literally “the science of life”, Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old system of health that originated in India and is still being practiced world-wide. Ayurveda offers accessible recommendations for living in alignment with the seasons and achieving optimal health based on your own unique constitution. Gain a basic understanding of Ayurveda in this workshop, and come away with tips on incorporating it into your life!

Lisa is a certified Ayurvedic consultant and has studied Ayurveda, and it’s sister-science, yoga, for over ten years. She completed her Ayurvedic Consultant certification through the Kripalu School for Yoga and Health, where she studied with Ayurvedic doctors such as Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Rosy Mann, and Dr. Sunhil Joshi. Lisa is also a certified clinical herbalist at VCIH, where she incorporates both Ayurveda and western herbalism into her consultations and is an advocate for looking at local Vermont plants through an Ayurvedic lens.
