VCIH is thrilled to announce our new, expanded
Herbs from the Ground Up Apprenticeship!
This short course, taught by Betzy Bancroft, Larken Bunce, Joann Darling, and Laura Litchfield will begin in the spring of 2014.
Beginning with a bit of herbal history and an exploration of the nature of the human being, this course will provide a thorough understanding of the basics of herbal medicine for self and family care. Throughout the Summer, students will spend half of each day with their hands in the dirt, learning to grow and harvest common herbs. Afternoons will be spent preparing remedies and learning to apply herbs to a wide variety of common health complaints with confidence.
