VCIH Fundraiser 9/14!

Posted September 3rd, 2019 by Larken Bunce

Tinctures & Tunes, an evening of activities to support VCIH’s mission-driven work, will be hosted at Wild Trails Farm on Saturday, September 14th. Activities include plant-medicine conversation and plant walks with graduates and VCIH board members, a silent auction and a raffle (the raffle is free to enter by being present!) with locally made items from vendors like Flora Pottery, Springfield Food Coop, L.H. Post Ku Nye Massage Therapy, local orchardists’ consultation, a landscape analysis from Terrigenous in Chester Vt., and more.

To top it all off, we’ll share light fare and have swingy music and dancing on the hill! The music will be provided by the charming Emma Schneider, Arthur Davis, Anna Patton, Ethan Hazzard-Watkins, and Guillaume Sparrow Pepin as Emma and the Sweet Pea Pickers. Come have fun AND help your fellow Vermonters access high-quality, sliding scale herbal wellness.

Kids welcome!

Information on VCIH membership, which brings perks like discounts on community herbal medicine classes, will be available, as will medicinal plant coloring books and cool t-shirts!

You are welcome any time after 5 pm to explore the many trails of Wild Trails Farm, on your own or in the company of herbalists. We’ll hear from VCIH Board Members and Faculty about the school’s work over light fare around 6:30, and bidding on the silent auction is open 5-7:30, when the music starts!
