Adaptogens are a category of herbs that support our bodies’ responses to stressors (both physical and emotional). In this class, Denise will review the concept of adaptogenic herbs and the history of their use. Specific adaptogens will be discussed, with a focus on those that can be grown in Vermont. At the end of class, prepare flavorful teas and snacks, using adaptogens!
